Description
Callistemon rugulosus is an extremely hardy shrub with massed bottle-brush flowers ranging from red to purple and attractively tipped with gold. Flowers occur in November and December and sometimes in other months. Height 2-5m x 1.5-3m. Most soil types in full sun. Tolerant of dry periods, wind, poor soils, water-logging, and frost. Good for screening.
