Extremely hardy shrub with rigid needle like leaves and massed bright red bottle-brush flowers in Spring. Height 2m x 1.5-2m. Most soil types in full sun. Tolerant of dry periods, wind, poor soils, water-logging, coastal conditions and frost. Good for screening. Good bird habitat.
