Petunia exserta is a very rare perennial Petunia from Brazil first described in 1987 and is considered to be on the brink of extinction in the wild. It grows to 60cm x 60cm and has striking red flowers for a very long period, peaking in Summer and Autumn. It enjoys full sun or part shade in well drained soils. We have grown it here in SA in full sun with occasional summer water and light frost.
