Penstemon Garnet is a fast growing dense shrub to 50-80cm x 60cm. Massed spikes of wine-red flowers Spring, Summer and early Autumn. Looks spectacular in a massed planting or as an informal low hedge. Can be pruned after flowering to maintain shape. Full sun part shade. Most soils. Drought and frost hardy. Dead head to encourage repeat flowering.
