Clumping perennial 60-90cm x 60cm with grass like leaves. Spikes of red flowers with darker red, almost black eyes above a green throat spring, summer and autumn. Flowers best in full sun but will grow in part shade. Most soils. Very hardy, drought, salt and frost tolerant.
