Eucalyptus tetraptera is a small Mallee more like a shrub than a tree 1-3m x 1-3m. Smooth grey or whitish grey bark and large thick leathery leaves. The outstanding feature of this lovely eucalyptus are the large, winged flower buds occuring from late winter to mid summer with red to pink flowers. Full sun in well drained soils. Drought and frost hardy.
