Centurea scabiosa creates an attractive rosette of deeply lobed green foliage from which eye catching stems of purple thistle flowers appear to 90cm high in Spring and Summer. Very hardy it thrives on neglect in most well drained soils in full sun to part shade. Drought and frost hardy.
