Description
A fast growing upright shrub to 4m x 3m ideal for screening or hedging. It has pink bottle-brush flowers sporadically throughout the year peaking in Spring. Great source of nectar for native honey-eaters. An added feature of this plant is the attractive pink new growth. Prefers full sun and is generally not fussy about the soil. Drought and frost tolerant. One of the outstanding features of Callistemon is they are able to withstand water-logging during winter and drought conditions during summer making these plants versatile in almost all conditions.
