Description
Banksia occidentalis is usually a multi stemmed shrub 2-3mx1-2m, sometimes a tree to 7m. Large bright red flower spikes held above the foliage in summer and autumn. Long narrow foliage. Can be used as a cut flower. Full sun or part shade. Well drained soils. Coastal and drought tolerant.
