Banksia petiolaris is a low growing spreading banksia that effectively acts as a ground-cover. Long thick wavy edged leaves grow up from the ground hugging branches. Yellow flower spikes appear amongst the foliage. Full sun or part shade. Well drained soils. Coastal, frost and drought tolerant. Good for soil binding.
