Clupming perennials with attractive fern like blue-green foliage. In spring and summer they abound with spikes of pendulous flowers. They grow in any fertile, well-drained soil and can be grown in full sun but semi-shade preferred. Although drought tolerant once established Summer water recommended in hot dry districts.
Aquilegia oxypetala reaches 30cm in height with divided leaves and burgundy and yellow nodding flowers in spring and early summer. Winter dormant.
