Silene zawadskii is a low growing plant forming rosettes to 25cm wide. Unusual white flowers on stems to 25cm appear all summer long. Highly adaptable it grows in most well drained soils including alkaline and prefers full sun but will grow in part shade. Great for front of borders, rockeries, pots and containers. Drought hardy once established but some summer water recommended in dry districts.
