Description

Salvia merjamie is an unusual Salvia from the east African Highlands, from Ethiopia to Tanzania and across the red sea to Yemen. It is fast growing to around 1m x 1m with large bright green leaves smelling of mint. It is fast to flower with whorls of pale blue flowers above the foliage. Its not the most spectacular of Salvia but we have found it to be hardy in full sun and quickly establishes with minimal water and produces a lot of flower spikes.
