Salvia canariensis var. candidissima is a drought hardy shrub 1.5m x 1m with cotton wool like white stems with arrow shaped white wooly leaves which gradually age to silver-grey. Magenta purple flowers are held in large purple calyces. Full sun in well drained soils. Drought hardy but protect from frost whilst young.
