Potentilla pulvinaris in 50mm Forestry Tube

$7.95

8 in stock

Description

Rare shrub from Turkey forming a small rosette 10-15cm high and growing 20-30cm wide. It has attractive toothed digitate foliage covered in hairs giving it a silky grey appearance. Contrasting bright yellow flowers appear on short stalks above the foliage in summer. This plant grows naturally in full sun in well drained soils but so far is growing nicely in part shade. We have yet to trial this plant in the garden but grows very well in pots and I expect it will do well in rockeries and alpine gardens. I would recommend summer water in hot dry districts just to keep it looking lush. Rare in cultivation.
