Penstemon Iron Maiden  is a small shrub forming a low rosette with long, lance shaped green foliage. Bright scarlet red bells on long stalks appear through Spring and early Summer. Suited to full sun or part shade and will grow in most well drained soils. Drought and frost tolerant once established but we recommend summer water during those hot dry spells to keep it looking its best.
