Pelargonium echinatum is an interesting species Pelargonium from South Africa. It is a hardy small shrub 30cm-1m x 50cm with fluted green foliage and massed white to light pink flowers from June to October. In summer it becomes dormant, having lost its leaves in November, making it ideal for water wise gardens. It grows best in full sun in most well drained soils. Drought and frost hardy to -3 degrees.
