An uncommon Melaleuca, hamulosa is an attractive broom like dense shrub or small tree 3-6m x 2-3m ideally suited for hedging and screening. Honey scented white or pinkish mauve flowers appear in Spring and Summer. Very hardy in most soils and conditions. Tolerates drought, frost and coastal conditions. Full sun or part shade and adaptable to most soils and conditions. Responds to regular pruning.
