Open rounded shrub usually 1.5-2m x 1.5-2m but sometimes growing to 3m . Deep pink to purple globular flowers spring and summer. Unusual attractive foliage. Full sun or part shade but will flower better in full sun. Adaptable to most well drained soils. Drought and frost hardy.
