A prostrate trailing ground-cover growing to 1.5m wide. Long flowering, the scarlet pea flowers are produced in clusters between April and November. The species is hardy and adaptable occurring in all Australian states except the NT. Best in well drained soils in full sun to dappled shade and is drought and frost tolerant.
