Hakea vittata is a spreading shrub 50cm-2m x 1-3m, but usually reaches 1.2m. It has needle like foliage and clusters of white flowers August to November. Grows best in full sun or part shade in most well drained soils. Very drought tolerant and frost hardy once established. Ideal bird habitat.
