Description
Variable shrub to 1-4m x 1-4m but usually 2-3m x 2-3m. Long needle like foliage. Profuse sweet scented creamy pink to yellowish red flowers in Winter and Spring followed by very large attractive seed capsules much sort after for floral decorations and dried flower arrangements. Grows in full sun or part shade in most well drained soils. Drought tolerant and frost hardy. Reliable screen, windbreak, bird refuge. Known as the cricket ball hakea.
