Hakea carinata is a stiff upright and slender shrub 1.5-3m-1-2.5m. It has variable stiff linear foliage ending with a sharp point, making it ideal as a bird refuge. It produces white flowers from September to October. It likes full sun or part shade in well drained soils. Drought and frost tolerant.
