Hakea actites is a variable upright spreading shrub 1-3.5m, sometimes growing to 5m . Long needle like foliage make a great nesting habitat for small birds. Nectar rich white flowers May to September. Full sun or part shade in well drained but moist soils. Tolerant of coastal conditions and seasonal water-logging.
