Description
This is a very reliable shrub used extensively for screens, hedging and windbreaks. It is fast growing, dense and bushy reaching 2m x 2-3m. Massed red and creamy yellow spider flowers winter and early spring which the honey-eaters find irresistible. It grows in full sun or part shade in most soils, tolerating everything from heavy clay to sand. Drought and frost hardy and suitable for alkaline soils and coastal conditions.
