Eucalyptus leucoxylon ‘Rosea’ is the horticultural name for Eucalyptus leucoxylon ssp megalocarpa. It is a small to medium sized tree growing 8-12mx 4-6m with massed pink to red flowers, sometimes cream, in winter and spring. It grows in either full sun or part shade in most well drained soils. Tolerant of poor soils including alkaline and dry conditions. Ideal for use as a screen or windbreak. Good street or park tree. Frost tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions. It really is an outstanding tree for almost any situation.
