Eucalyptus lane-poolei is a mallee to 3-8m, sometimes a tree to 12m. It has smooth whitish grey to orange-brown bark, often appearing scaly due to partly shed flakes of older bark. Adult leaves are narrow lance-shaped to curved. Prior to flowering, this eucalypt forms ornamental globose buds. Creamy white flowers between January and April or June and September . Full sun in well drained soils. Tolerates drought and moderate frost once established.
