Eucalyptus lacrimans, also known as the weeping snow gum, is a medium sized tree growing 12-15m with weeping branches and pendulous leaves. It was first described in 1991 and is considered rare as it comes from only a small location in NSW. It has smooth white bark with patches of cream or grey. Profuse white flowers occur between September and January. It grows best in full sun in wet clay soils. Frost and snow hardy. Summer water recommended to get established in more temperate/low rainfall areas.
