Eremophila crassifolia is a low shrub with erect or spreading branches growing to a height and width of up to 1.0 m. Its leaves are densely clustered and overlapping, thick, folded lengthwise and egg-shaped to almost round and often with purplish edges. Lilac flowers occur most months. It grows in most well drained soils in full sun. Very drought and frost hardy this small, compact eremophila is a hardy plant which is showy in flower and ideal for small gardens. Perfect for pots.
