Dryandra armata is a sprawling, spreading or upright shrub that typically grows to a height of 1.5–3 m with stiff deeply serrated foliage.  Yellow, sometimes pink, flowers from June to November which can be used as a cut flower.  Full sun in well drained sandy soils. Drought hardy once established. Suitable for pots and containers.
