Carpobrotus rossii is a spreading native succulent with massed purple flowers in spring. It flowers best in full sun but will grow in part shade . It is frost tolerant and very drought hardy. Grows in most soils including sand where it is a good soil stabiliser. Suitable for front line coastal conditions. Attractive ground cover for covering large difficult areas.
