Description
Callistemon pinifolius is a hardy shrub with pine like leaves and massed bottle-brush flowers in spring. Although the seed is collected from green flowering forms, flowers can range in colour from bright green, to a pretty apricot orange through to red. Height 1.5-2m x 1.5-2m. Most soil types in full sun. Tolerant of dry periods, wind, poor soils, water-logging, coastal conditions and frost. Good for screening.
