Description
Callistachys lanceolata grows either as a medium shrub of 2-3m or a tree to 7m. The plant flowers from September to January with conspicuous displays of yellow pea flowers. Prefers a well-drained sandy damp soil in full sun or part shade and has good tolerance to salt-laden winds. Drought tolerant once established but summer water recommended, resistant to the occasional frost.
