Acacia colletioides is a rigid spreading prickly shrub typically growing to a height between 0.5 and 3m. It blooms in winter and spring from July to September and produces yellow flowers. Full sun preferred. Hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions including alkaline soils it crosses the continent from Western Australia to New South Wales. It is drought and frost tolerant.
