Description
Crowea exalata compact purple is a small dainty shrub to 30cm x 30cm. Profusion of tiny darker pink to purple star flowers sporadic throughout the year peaking in Autumn and again in Spring. Prefers well drained moist soils in part shade but will grow in full sun if root run kept cool with mulch. Summer water may be required in drier districts. Pretty in both native and cottage gardens. Suitable for containers. If preferred prune after flowering to promote dense bushy habit.
