Eremophila hygrophana is an erect, compact, highly branched shrub which grows to a height of between 0.3 and 1.2 m is a shrub with its grey foliage covered with a thick layer of yellow to grey hairs. Purple flowers occur from July to December and sporadic throughout the year. Prefers full sun in well drained soils.  It is both drought tolerant and moderately frost resistant.
