Calothamnus blepharospermus is an upright, spreading, bushy shrub growing 2-3m x 2-3m. It has unusual yellow tipped red claw like flowers January and February and sometimes in July. It prefers full sun and grows in most well drained soils and is drought and frost tolerant. Hard to find in cultivation.
