Description
Lychnis chalcedonica red form is a slender shrub with green foliage and spikes of pretty scarlet red flowers arranged in a domed cluster December and January. Grows 30-80cm x 30cm tall in full sun or part shade in most soils. Plant amongst other perennials for little peaks of red. Summer water during dry spells. Rare in cultivation. grown from seed sometimes they can flower pink.
