Salvia sinaloensis is a spreading shrub 30-45cm x 1-3m. Plant spreads by rhizomes. Spikes of brilliant flowers show well against the burgundy foliage in summer and autumn. The more sun the deeper the purple of the foliage. Grows in well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Good for borders, massed plantings and containers. Cut back to ground level at the end of Autumn.
