Easy to grow bulb with long broad leaves and stems bearing flat to elongated Crocus like flowers, which appear continuously throughout spring, summer and autumn. Flower quickly from seed, usually within 1-2 years. Ideally suited for growing in rockeries and pots and containers. Good drainage required. Fresh seed should be sown in March and April ready for a spring germination.
