Description
Melaleuca fulgens Hot Pink is an attractive Melaleuca to 1.5m x 1-2m with fine foliage that will develop into a nicely rounded shrub. Striking gold tipped magenta pink flowers from late winter to early summer. Flowers best in the full sun but will tolerate part shade. Hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions including water-logging. Drought tolerant once established with summer water recommended until then. Once established this plant is frost tolerant to -2, but protect tips from frost when young in areas of severe frost. Responds well to pruning.
