Description
Hardy adaptable shrub 2-4m x 1.5-2m. Grey green elliptical foliage and showy spikes of bright red flowers from august to April with peak flowering in December. Prefers well drained soils in full sun. Drought and frost tolerant. Suitable for coastal conditions where it is tolerant of salt laden winds. Good for screen or windbreak. Suitable for pruning.
