Melaleuca cheelii is a shrub or tree to 10 m with white flowers and papery bark. It has been classified as “near threatened” by the government of Queensland. The white bottle-brush flowers appear in spring. Grows in full sun to part shade. Has attractive small rounded foliage. Summer water recommended in dry areas until established. Suitable for boggy areas.
