Kennedia microphylla is a dense, mat-forming ground-cover with miniature tri-foliate leaves. Eye catching red pea-like flowers smother the plant from August to December. Grows in most soils in full sun, but will tolerate some shade. In its native range can be found from swampy areas to coastal slopes. Summer water recommended in dry areas to have it looking its best in garden conditions.
