Hovea lorata is an upright shrub 1.5-3 m with wide elongated foliage. The attractive mauve pea flowers occur from July to October. Has proven adaptable in temperate and sub-tropical areas where it prefers a well drained soil in a partly shaded position. Summer water recommended. Suitable for second line coastal.
