Hovea acutifolia is a bushy, slender shrub 1.5-4 m with wide elongated foliage with new growth having an attractive rusty appearance. The stunning blue to purple pea flowers occur from late winter to early spring. Has proven adaptable in temperate and sub-tropical areas where it prefers a well drained soil in a partly shaded position. Summer water recommended.
