Hakea psilorrhyncha is a variable slender shrub 1-4m x 1-2m. It has rigid needle like foliage with a sharp point making it an ideal bird habitat. It has eye catching massed white/cream flowers with a red style amongst the branches in Spring. Most well drained soils in full sun, including alkaline soils. Tolerant of dry periods, wind, frost and poor soils.
