Description
Calothamnus are unusual, hardy plants for water-wise gardens. This species grows 1.5-2m x 2m with attractive hairy, grey green foliage and a prominent display of interesting nectar rich, red flowers along one side Mar to Jul or Oct or Dec. Prefers full sun in most well drained soils and is drought hardy and frost tolerant once established. prune to create a dense hedge or windbreak.
