Calothamnus graniticus is an erect, rounded shrub to 2m x 2m with pine-like, dark, grey-green foliage. The flowers are usually bright red but sometimes cream and occur from May to August. It prefers full sun and grows in most well drained soils and is drought and frost tolerant.
