Of all the colours, I love purple flowering bottle brush the most. Callistemon are so hardy and versatile. They will grow on almost any soil and tolerate drought or seasonal water-logging, frost or dry heat. You can prune them back hard and they just grow back even better with more flowers as a thank you. This Callistemon is a twice flowering, fast growing rounded dense shrub 2-3m x 2-3m. The stunning display of violet flowers appear in Spring and again in Autumn. Full sun or part shade in most soils. Ideal for windbreaks, screens, hedging and coastal gardens.
